From Monday to Wednesday, 9th – 11th of September, 23 lucky students from Years 8 & 9 attended a residential to Stubbers Outdoor Adventure Centre in Upminster, Essex on our very first trip of the new year.
This two day residential saw our brave students take on a host of challenges and tasks. These included: archery, raft building, rock climbing, sailing and laser tag. Despite the heavy rain on the first day our students took on each and every challenge head-on and it was an honour and a privilege to see all of them face their fears and try something new.
After two days of camping and team building we all, staff included, returned to Wapping High School with an enhanced outdoor education and appreciation for all that our beautiful countryside has to offer.
Until next time.
