The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme will be running across the winter half term break to support families and children eligible for free school meal provisions by providing healthy meals and enriching activities over the holidays. A continuation of the summer HAF programme, the provision targets support to address the particular pressure point of school holidays when increased costs and reduced incomes are likely to impact those particularly vulnerable to food insecurity.

Clubs will be running between Thursday 23^rd December and Monday 3^rd January, with a number of clubs able to offer SEND support on a case by case basis. Eligible children will be able to attend multiple clubs over the period.

To support this schools will be provided with flyers ahead of the programme containing an overview of the provision and the details of clubs operating in the borough, as well as information about how families can sign up. As the provision is particularly targeted at those who are FSM eligible, schools will be asked to make sure that details of the programme are shared with eligible children as a priority. A digital copy of this is attached for reference, however please be advised that physical copies are in the process of being printed and delivered to schools.

The vaccine event is for anyone 25 and over and yet to have their first Covid-19 vaccine. All Tower Hamlets residents are invited to book an appointment the event which will take place at the London Stadium (West Ham) in the Olympic Park, Stratford, London on Saturday 19 June, 10am to 8pm. The event is for first Covid-19 vaccine appointments only and everyone must book an appointment. Book appointments online here.
