Admissions

Admissions Policy

Wapping High School opened to increase the provision of secondary education for families living in the South Wapping Priority Zone. Our admissions policy gives priority to the community it was set up to serve. We also expect that there will be spaces for families from outside the South Wapping Priority Zone and we encourage all families to apply regardless of where they live.

All children who have a statement of Special Educational Needs where Wapping High School is named on the statement will be admitted, subject to consultation with their local authority.

All applications should be made through your local borough, using their application form.

For the full policy click hereĀ or contact the school directly.

Student Admissions

Admissions for secondary school are coordinated centrally by the local authority and Wapping High School is part of the Borough Admission System.

We have a limited number of places available for In-Year admissions for Year 7, 8 and 9. To apply for September, please contact the school as well as the Tower Hamlets admissions team.

If you live outside Tower Hamlets you can still apply for a place at Wapping High School by contacting the school or emailing admissions@wappinghigh.org
